Laborers electrocuted in school

MANGATAREM, Pangasinan, Philippines – Two laborers were electrocuted as they were installing iron grills at a public elementary school here on Wednesday.

Inspector Rodolfo Santiago, operations officer of Mangatarem police, identified the fatality as Fernando Ancheta, 49, and Florentino Sta. Ana, 58.

Santiago said the two were gathering their tools at the Bogtong Silag Elementary School when they failed to notice that the extension cord they used was still plugged to a power outlet.
