Ex-solon's nephew wounded in Camsur shooting

MANILA, Philippines - Two persons, including the nephew of former Camarines Sur Rep. Luis Villafuerte, were wounded during a shooting inside a cockpit arena in the province Monday early dawn.
 
Reports said that Jeffrey Villafuerte, 30, son of ex-lawmaker's brother Jojo; and Allan Balona, 59, a cockpit employee,were hurt during the incident.
 
Villafuerte sustained three gunshot wounds while Balona was hit on the hand, reports added.
 
Initial police investigation showed that Villafuerte had an argument with a certain Emmanuel Rey inside the  Camarines Sur Sports Arena in Milaor town around 1:42 a.m.
 
During the argument, Rey reportedly drew a gun and shot Villafuerte. A stray bullet also hit Balona. 
 
Villafuerte is now under observation at a hospital for his injuries.
