ESchool principal hits pupils’ heads

BACOLOD CITY, Philippines – A principal of an elementary school in Bago City, Negros Occidental yesterday apologized for knocking the heads of two pupils together after they skipped the flag ceremony.

Romilo Orense of Araneta Elementary School made the apology in front of the two pupils and their parents.

Orense said he was not able to hold his temper when the boys ignored calls for them to attend the flag ceremony.

One of the boys’ mothers complained after her son sustained a bruise and developed fever, allegedly due to the incident.
