14 hurt as bus hits jeep in Makati

MANILA, Philippines - Around 14 people were injured after a bus rammed a passenger jeepney in Makati City on Wednesday.

Initial reports said that the driver of the jeepney, which came from the terminal at Forbes Park, tried to beat the red light at the corner of Edsa and Ayala Avenue.

While speeding to cross, a southbound Claro Trans bus rammed into the jeepney.

The injured passengers were rushed to a nearby hospital while the bus and jeepney were towed to Makati City Traffic Center for investigation, reports added. - Dennis Carcamo
