LRT, MRT to offer free rides for workers on Labor Day

MANILA, Philippines - The Light Rail Transit and Metro Rail Transit will offer free rides on Labor Day, May 1.

The LRT said lines 1 and 2 will offer free rides from 7 a.m. to 9 a.m. and 5 p.m. to 7 p.m.

The MRT, meanwhile, said it will offer free service from 7 a.m. to 10 a.m. and 5 p.m. to 7 p.m.

The train systems' managements said that passengers would have to present their employment identification cards to avail of the special free service.
