Cops nab man for high-powered firearms in Pasay

MANILA, Phlippines - Police arrested on Thursday dawn a suspected hired gun at a casino in Pasay City.

Reports said police recovered from the Honda Accord of the suspect, only identified via ids seized as Gerry Sy, several high-powered firearms including five handguns, smoke grenades, taser gun, knives, spikes, stun gun and numerous ammunition.

Police also seized a sachet containing suspected shabu inside the suspect's car, reports added.

The arrest was made following a tip from an informant that a white Honda Accord carrying high powered weapons was in the area.

Police are now questioning the suspect on the confiscated firearms.
