Grenade lobbed at fiscal’s house

DAVAO CITY , Philippines   â€“ Police are hunting down two men who lobbed a grenade at the house of a fiscal in Digos City, Davao del Sur yesterday.

No one was hurt in the blast that damaged the vehicle and a portion of the house of Davao del Sur provincial prosecutor Artemio Tajon on Estrada Street, Barangay Zone 2.

Witnesses said the two suspects fled on a motorcycle after the incident.

The Integrated Bar of the Philippines’ Davao del Sur chapter condemned the incident and urged the Philippine National Police to conduct a thorough investigation.
