Missing typhoon victim’s body found

TUGUEGARAO CITY, Philippines – The body of one of the three persons swept away by floodwaters during the onslaught of monsoon rains was found along the bank of Damangil River in San Quintin town in Abra Sunday.

Rosalino Calantay was last seen crossing the river in Barangay Amtuagan in Tubo town.

Two more victims, Eufrocina Manaois and Monching Bakidan, remain missing.

Manaois was one of 31 tourists trapped in Sumanguil cave in Sagada in Mt. Province while Bakidan was carried away by the current while crossing the Chico River in Kalinga.
