Ilocos computer rob gang strikes again

NARVACAN, Ilocos Sur, Philippines – A robbery gang preying on computer sets of public schools has struck again.

On Saturday, the gang, using acetylene torches, got into the computer room of the Nanguneg-Imelda National High School here and carted away 12 computer sets. The robbers fled by climbing over the fence.

Last June 24, the Bantay National High School also lost 19 computers to robbers.

An alarmed Gov. Ryan Luis Singson has ordered the police to put an end to the robberies.
