Magnitude 4.2 quake hits Davao del Sur

A magnitude 4.2 earthquake shook parts of Davo del Sur on Wednesday morning, the Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology said.

In its bulletin, Philvocs said the quake occured at 1:26 a.m. with its epicenter at 240 kilometers east of Sarangani in Davao del Sur. The tectonic quake had a depth of 239 kilometers.

No damage has been reported in the area.
