Non-working day in La Union

SAN FERNANDO, La Union, Philippines – President Aquino has declared March 2 a special non-working day in La Union as the province marks its 162nd foundation anniversary.

“It is but fitting and proper that the people of La Union be given full opportunity to celebrate this milestone in their province’s history with appropriate ceremonies,” states Proclamation 334 dated Feb. 13.
