Special holiday in Bulacan tomorrow

MALOLOS CITY, Philippines  – Malacañang declared tomorrow a special non-working holiday in Bulacan in commemoration of the 113th Republic Day that will be led by Vice President Jejomar Binay.

This came after local historians on Friday criticized Malacañang’s declaration of Jan. 23 a special non-working holiday in observance of the Chinese New Year.

Gov. Wilhelmino Alvarado told dwSS Radio yesterday that President Aquino signed Executive Order 322 declaring Jan. 23 a special non-working holiday in the province.
