Marawi trader freed

MARAWI CITY, Philippines – A kidnapped local businessman was released on Wednesday after two weeks in captivity, in Barangay Bubong-a-Madaya here, police said. 

Police could not say if ransom was paid for the release of businessman Abdulcarim Magarang, whose kidnappers earlier had demanded P2 million.
