BALANGA CITY – Police authorities here have arrested two carjacking suspects while roaming around the city in stolen motorcycle at a posh subdivision in the upland village of Camacho, this city on Sunday morning.

Superintendent Benjamin Silo Jr., Balanga City police chief, identified the suspects as Roy Brabante of Barangay Omboy, Abucay town and Jose Pantig of Barangay Sta. Rosa, Pilar town, all in Bataan.

In his report to Senior Superintendent Manuel Gaerlan, Bataan police director, Silo said the suspects took a Kawasaki motorcycle (CA-5804) with sidecar owned by Hernania Recuerdo Nisay parked in front of her house at Capitol Site, Barangay San Jose, this city, at about 4 a.m.

When the pursuing police mobile group led by Inspector Pepe Alindayu flagged down the suspects riding in tandem on a stolen motorcycle near the Don Pepe Subdivision, they immediately alighted and fled on foot toward a cogonal area without knowing that they entered the 24th Army Battalion Headquarters.                                              – Raffy Viray
