2 suspects in Hot Babe’s slay charged today
Police are set to file today charges of arson and murder against two suspects in the killing of Viva Hot Babe Scarlet Garcia and three others in
Senior Superintendent Abelardo Villacorta, Olongapo City police chief, told The STAR that the charges will be filed before the Olongapo City prosecutor’s office against Ferdinand Cadenas, 21, and Jay AR Perez Mojica, 23, who were arrested for a separate case of robbery in Pampanga last April 4.
Villacorta said charges will also be filed against the suspects’ three companions – Henry Cheng Fong, Benny Crisologo and Anthony Benipayo – who managed to escape after the Pampanga robbery.
Villacorta said crime lab findings showed that one of the guns seized from Cadenas and Mojica was the one used in the March 13 killing of Garcia, her boyfriend George Castro, and their friends, Rachel Estacio and her boyfriend Mark Bandejas.
