NCAA, UAAP tiffs postponed

Rains spawned by typhoon “Egay” forced the cancellation of the NCAA games today and the UAAP matches tomorrow.

The UAAP board also said whether or not the scheduled games for Sunday will push through will be known tomorrow.

Ateneo was supposed to play UP while NU was to meet Adamson.

“Due to the predicted heavy rains and the suspension of classes, the Aug. 17 games will be moved to a later play date,” said NCAA management committee chief Paul Supan of JRU.

The postponed games are tentatively set Sept. 7, also at The Arena.
