Ducut is Pampanga chairwoman of NPC

Rep. Gilberto Teodoro Jr. (Tarlac, first district), congressional head of the Nationalist People’s Coalition, clarified that Rep. Zenaida Ducut is the party’s Pampanga chairperson, not Arayat Mayor Benigno Espino, as The STAR referred to in a recent article.

Teodoro, in a letter, also stressed that the NPC is part of the majority bloc in the House of Representatives.

The solon reacted to a Nation story by Ding Cervantes quoting Espino as criticizing the choice by President Arroyo of Senior Superintendent Rodolfo "Boogie" Mendoza Jr., Pangasinan police director, as the new police chief of Pampanga.
