MANILA, Philippines — Binigyang parangal ng Las Piñas City government ang mga empleyado, opisyal at operating units ng lungsod na may outstanding performances sa paghahatid ng mga programa, proyekto at aktibidad sa ginanap na 2023 Local Governance Exemplar Awards, nitong Lunes.
Ayon kay Mayor Imelda Aguilar na nilikha ang Las Piñas City Local Governance Exemplary Award (LPCLGEA) upang itatag ang mekanismo sa pagtukoy, pagpili at pagbibigay ng gantimpala at mga insentibo sa mga karapat-dapat na mga opisina, opisyal, at empleyado.
Sa ilalim ng kategorya ng City Level Awards ay ang High Functionality on the Las Piñas City Peace and Order Council (LPCPOC); Safest City in Southern Metro Manila; High Functionality on the Las Piñas City Anti-Drug Abuse Council (LPCADAC); Ideal Function for both the Local Council for Protection of Children (LCPC) and the Local Committee on Anti-Trafficking and Violence Against Women and Children (LCAT-VAWC); Functional Comprehensive Development Plan (CDP); at Functional Fisheries Compliance Audit.
Idinagdag pa ng alkalde na kabilang din sa City Level Awards ang Regional Recognition on Manila Bay Clean-Up, Rehabilitation, and Preservation (MBCRP) Program; Regional Recognition on Halina’s Magtanim ng Prutas at Gulay (HAPAG)-Kalinga Program; City Nutrition Awards; Best Garden Award; at ng Seal of 4Ps-Grand Winner Pantawid Farmers ng Talon Kuatro-Livelihood Association.
Samantala, sa lalim ng Barangay Level Awards category ay ang Safe Barangay Awards, Drug Cleared Barangays, Best Barangay Nutrition Scholars, Seal of Good Local Governance for Barangays (SGLGB), at Outstanding Lupong Tagapamayapa of the City of Las Piñas.
