Japanese loses P.2 M to robber

MANILA, Philippines – A Japanese man lost over P210,000 worth of cash and valuables to a motorcycle-riding robber in Malate, Manila Monday night.

Hiroshi Nogiwa, 53, told the Manila Police District general assignment section that he was walking along Remedios street in Malate when the suspect grabbed his bag.

Nogiwa said he lost P184,000 in cash, an iPhone6 cell phone worth P30,000, automated teller machine cards and passport.

Police have launched a manhunt for the suspect.
