Girl, 11, dies in Tondo fire

MANILA, Philippines - An 11-year-old girl died after she was trapped inside their burning house in Tondo, Manila yesterday afternoon.

The body of Maria Jasmin Domingo was recovered after clearing operations, the Manila Fire Department said.

Arson investigators said the fire broke out at the Domingo residence at past 12 p.m.

Authorities have yet to establish what caused the fire.

An hour later, another fire hit the KP Tower along Juan Luna street in Binondo.
