Robbers steal donation box, shotguns from Sikh temple

MANILA, Philippines - Seven men robbed a Sikh temple in Paco, Manila before dawn Tuesday, taking away a donation box and two shotguns.

The unidentified robbers barged into the temple at around 2:42 a.m., police said.

One of the men pointed a gun at security guards Amador Soreno Jr. and Joemar Avelino while the other robbers grabbed the donation box, which contained an unknown amount of cash, and the guards’ 12-gauge shotguns.

They fled in a silver Honda CRV with plate number ZTE-515, police said.
