Rob suspect shot dead

MANILA, Philippines - A suspected robber, recently released on bail, was shot dead in Malabon Thursday night.

Guillermo Solis Jr., 32, alias “Jun-jun Dyablo,” was walking along Geukeko street in Barangay Baritan when two men shot him from behind at around 8:30 p.m., according to Inspector Roger Libuton, Malabon police follow-up section chief.

Solis died at the scene from several gunshot wounds. Police recovered six shells at the scene. 

Solis was arrested and charged with robbery and illegal possession of firearms but was ordered released on bail by Malabon Regional Trial Court Branch 170 Judge Zaldy Docena.
