Trader robbed by brod

MANILA, Philippines - A businesswoman and her family came back from a vacation to find that their house in Barangay Tugatog, Malabon City was ransacked on Tuesday and the robbers turned out to be her own brother and an accomplice.

Annabel Samson, 40, arrived at their house and discovered that the gate was unlocked and one of the windows destroyed, city police chief Senior Superintendent Severino Abad Jr. said.

Samson told police she lost P200,000 cash, P800,000 worth of jewelry and gadgets valued at P200,000.

Some of the jewelry and gadgets were recovered from Samson’s brother, Arvin John Tababa, and his companion, Jonathan dela Cruz, police said.
