Fire hits Tondo school

MANILA, Philippines - A public school was damaged when a fire broke out at a residential area in Tondo, Manila yesterday afternoon.

Arson probers said a portion of the Manuel L. Quezon Elementary School was damaged.

The blaze started in a house along Concha street at around 2:25 p.m. and spread to the nearby school, according to the Bureau of Fire Protection (BFP).

The BFP has yet to determine the cause of the fire, which reached Task Force Alpha.

No one was reported injured in the fire.
