3 arrested in pot session

MANILA, Philippines - Police arrested three persons in a pot session in Navotas City Tuesday night.

Nabbed were Edwin Reyes, 50; Angelo Amistoso, 19, and Rosalie Pilagio, 23, all residents of Galicia street, Barangay Bangkulasi.

City police chief Senior Superintendent Romeo Razon said anti-drug operatives swooped down on the suspects’ den at past 10 p.m.

Policemen seized from the suspects three plastic sachets of shabu and drug paraphernalia.

Police Officer 2 Mark Oliver Olayvar said the raid was a product of surveillance conducted by the Navotas police intelligence unit.

The suspects were brought to the city prosecutor’s office yesterday for inquest proceedings.
