Fire hits Pasig warehouse

MANILA, Philippines - A fire of still unknown origin struck a warehouse in Pasig City early yesterday and destroyed at least P3 million worth of property.

According to the Pasig City Fire Department, the fire hit the warehouse of the United Robina Corp. in Bagong Ilog at about 3 a.m.

The warehouse housed animal feed and food ingredients, the fire department said.

The fire reached second alarm less than 30 minutes after it started and was put out at around 8:30 a.m. No one was injured or killed in the blaze, the fire department said.
