UN Avenue closed today

MANILA, Philippines - A segment of United Nations Avenue will closed to traffic this morning in connection with the celebration of the 114th founding anniversary of the Manila Police District (MPD).

Both lanes of the road from Taft Avenue to San Marcelino will be closed starting at 7 a.m., the MPD said in its advisory. It did not say when the road will be opened, instead advising motorists to take alternate routes.
