Woman found dead in QC

MANILA, Philippines - A 27-year-old woman was found dead in Barangay Payatas, Quezon City Thursday night.

Laila Procianos had been shot twice in the head with a 9mm pistol, according to crime scene investigators led by Inspector Ben Corpuz.

Rolando Danao, a barangay official, told police a concerned citizen informed him that there was a corpse in the area at around 6:45 p.m.

Police Officer 2 Anthony Tejerero said they are trying to find out why Procianos was killed and who killed her.
