Iranian charged with rape

MANILA, Philippines - An Iranian studying in Manila was arrested and charged for allegedly raping a massage therapist in Malate.

Pezhman Ataollahi was charged last Thursday before the city prosecutor’s office, said Superintendent Romeo Odrada, Manila Police District Station 9 commander.

He said Ataollahi hired the woman through a home massage service. She was assigned to go to his condominium unit at around 3 a.m.

While she was massaging him, he reportedly raped her, Odrada said.
