Foreman slain in ambush

MANILA, Philippines - A 60-year-old construction foreman was killed in an ambush in Caloocan City yesterday morning.

Nicandro Cipriano was on his way to work when he was shot by a still unidentified assailant in Karina Homes, Barangay 171 at around 7 a.m.

Police Officer 3 Gomer Mappala said no witnesses have come forward to shed light on Cipriano’s killing.
