Lotto prize seen to hit P260 M

MANILA, Philippines - The jackpot for the 6/55 Grand Lotto continues to rise and is expected to reach P260 million in time for today’s draw, the Philippine Charity Sweepstakes Office (PCSO) announced yesterday.

No one guessed the winning combination for last Saturday’s draw, 26-50-42-37-30-33, which had a jackpot of P245 million, PCSO acting chairman Jose Ferdinand Rojas II said.

However, at least 29 players won P136,120 each after they guessed five digits of the six-digit winning combination.

Rojas said ticket sales reached P78 million for last Saturday’s draw, up from P76 million in last Wednesday’s draw.
