MANILA, Philippines - A motorcycle-riding  gunman shot and killed two volunteer village watchmen in Parañaque City Sunday night.

Guillermo Bigno Jr. and Michael Bigno were manning a checkpoint at the corner of Lebanon and France streets in Barangay Don Bosco when killed, said city police chief Senior Superintendent Ariel Andrade.

Investigation showed the victims pulled over the suspect’s motorcycle at around 9 p.m.

An argument reportedly broke out among the victims and the suspect who pulled out a caliber .45 pistol and shot the two.

Guillermo died at the scene while Michael was declared dead on arrival at the Parañaque Doctors Hospital.

A peace and order team of the village said before the incident, a resident spotted a motorcycle-riding man driving around the subdivision.

The residents reportedly asked the victims to apprehend the suspect.
