Student electrocuted in Makati

MANILA, Philippines - A fourth year high school student died after being electrocuted in Makati City Monday night.

Police identified the victim as Carena Lizano, 17, of 8484 Trabajo street, Barangay Olympia.

Reports said Lizano was walking along a flooded portion of Hormiga street at about 8 p.m. when she accidentally touched a live wire.

She was rushed by responding barangay watchmen to the Ospital ng Makati where she was declared dead on arrival.
