Newborn’s body found in garbage heap

MANILA, Philippines - The body of a newborn baby was found in a heap of garbage in Caloocan City before dawn yesterday.

Roving barangay watchmen found the baby along Torres Bugallon street at around 2 a.m.

Police investigators are checking if there are any surveillance cameras in the area that may have captured an image of the person who left the baby.
