Fishball vendor crushed by truck

MANILA, Philippines - A 56-year-old fishball vendor died after being hit by a trailer truck in Navotas City Saturday night.

 Police said Noel Martinez, of PFDA Compound, Fish Port, North Bay Boulevard South, was crushed by the truck driven by Aladdin Estrada, 36.

Reports said the victim was crossing Road 10 at past 10 p.m. when he was hit by the truck.

Estrada turned himself in to the authorities after the accident. He will be charged with reckless imprudence resulting in homicide.
