Car falls from mall’s third-floor parking area

MANILA, Philippines - A 73-year-old motorist was hurt when his car fell from the third-floor parking area of Greenhills Shopping Center in San Juan City yesterday.

Juanito Nocus is being treated for chest injuries at the Cardinal Santos Medical Center.

According to initial reports, Nocus was allegedly speeding as he drove his white Mitsubishi Galant (NDP-484), hitting several vehicles before smashing through the perimeter wall.

There are reports that Nocus had a pacemaker and suffered chest pains at the time of the mishap.

The Galant landed on a Nissan Urvan and a Toyota Fortuner along Annapolis street.

Police officers and firefighters extracted Nocus from his car and took him to the hospital.
