Family of 3 nabbed in drug bust

MANILA, Philippines - A couple and their 15-year-old son were arrested in a drug bust in Malabon City Thursday afternoon.

They were arrested after the father, 34, handed a sachet of shabu to an undercover police officer in front of their house in Barangay Longos.

Another sachet was confiscated from the boy, who was also taken to the police station along with his father and his 30-year-old mother. 

Police said the boy will be brought to the local social welfare department, while his parents will be charged with violating the anti-drug law.
