21 hurt in QC bus accident

MANILA, Philippines - Twenty-one passengers were injured in a mishap involving two buses along Commonwealth Avenue yesterday morning.

The accident involved a Nova Auto Transport bus (TWM-412) driven by Ronald Burdice, 34; and a Fermina Express bus (TYX-330) driven by Jonie Sequero, 44.

The Fermina bus was rear-ended by the Nova bus in front of Fairview General Hospital at around 5 a.m., Senior Police Officer 4 Henry Se said.

Burdice told police the road was slippery following the heavy downpour the previous night.
