2 brods nabbed for killing wife

MANILA, Philippines - Two brothers were arrested last week for allegedly killing the wife of one of them and dumping her body in Laguna.

Angelito dela Cruz and his brother, Billy, were reportedly seen by security guard Rizaldy Paday loading the body of Billy’s wife, businesswoman Gemme dela Cruz, in a Mitsubishi L-300 van (TRJ-926) at their house in San Juan City last April 22.

Paday, 22, reported the incident to San Juan police chief Senior Superintendent Joselito Daniel, who ordered an investigation.

Gemme’s body was found at a vacant lot in Barangay Sabang in Magdalena, Laguna on April 23, Daniel said.

Angelito was arrested in Manila Doctor’s Subdivision, Las Piñas on April 23 while Billy, tagged as the principal suspect, was nabbed in Camella Homes, also in Las Piñas, the next day. The brothers remain silent on the allegations against them, Daniel said.
