Woman foils rapist, gets stabbed with pusher

MANILA, Philippines - A 23-year-old woman was stabbed several times with a cuticle pusher after she foiled her attacker’s attempt to rape her in Valenzuela City Thursday night.

The woman, who is currently confined in a hospital, was on her way to her boarding house shortly before midnight when an unidentified man approached her from behind and covered her face with a towel, according to a police report.

The woman fought off her attacker, who stabbed her before fleeing.
