Woman nabbed for P1.2-M shabu in Las Piñas

MANILA, Philippines - A woman was arrested for allegedly delivering 241.4 grams of shabu, which has a street value of P1.2 million, to an undercover Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) operative at a shopping mall in Las Piñas on July 12, an official said yesterday.

Pejay Madeja, 28, of Muntinlupa City, faces charges for delivery of dangerous drugs, PDEA chief Arturo Cacdac Jr. said.

The shabu, concealed with bubble wrap, was placed inside a brown envelope, he added.
