Fires hit Navotas, Taguig
MANILA, Philippines - At least P10 million worth of property went up in smoke when a three-hour fire hit a slum area in Navotas City Tuesday night.
Arson investigators said the fire broke out in Barangay North Bay Boulevard at 11 p.m.
The fire reportedly started in the house of Rodel Alvarez. The blaze damaged 15 houses before it was put out at 2 a.m.
In Taguig City, one was hurt when a fire of unknown origin struck a residential area in Western Bicutan at 8:40 p.m. Tuesday.
Roger Abrasado sustained first degree burns.
