Navotas sets up 3 pumping stations

MANILA, Philippines - The Navotas City government is constructing three new pumping stations to help alleviate the city’s flood problem.

The three new stations – one in Barangay Tangos and two in Barangay Sipac-Almacen – bring to 37 the total number of pumping stations in Navotas.

These pumping stations serve as Navotas’ “protection” from the Malabon-Navotas river during high tide and typhoons, the city government said in a statement.
