Jeepney driver shot dead

MANILA, Philippines - Unidentified men shot dead a jeepney driver in Pasay City on Monday.

Marlon Arroyo, 41, was rushed to San Juan de Dios Hospital, where he was pronounced dead on arrival. Police said Arroyo was shot in the chest and the bullet exited through his back.

Initial investigation showed that the suspects were irked with the way Arroyo answered them when they asked for the whereabouts of a certain Ramil Rapia Jr., who had an altercation with one of them.
