Medico-legal officer details Ramgen's wounds
MANILA, Philippines - A gunshot wound near the heart, three hack wounds in the back of the head and shoulders, and 10 stab wounds, including one that pierced the heart.
These were the wounds found by a medico-legal officer in the body of actor Ram Revilla hours after he was attacked inside his house in BF Homes Subdivision in Parañaque City on Oct. 28, 2011.
Revilla’s mother, Genelyn Magsaysay, wept as she heard the detailed account of the wounds sustained by her son during yesterday’s hearing of the case at the Parañaque Regional Trial Court.
“It was the first time I’ve actually heard of the wounds sustained by my son. I was never informed about it,” she said.
Magsaysay and Revilla’s younger brother Ramon Joseph, who was one of the accused, were present at the hearing.
“The fatal wound was the stab wound that hit his heart,” Dr. Dominic Aguna of the National Bureau of Investigation told Presiding Judge Fortunito Madrona.
Based on the wounds, Aguna said it was possible that Revilla was shot first before he was stabbed.
