Man loses motorbike at MPD headquarters

MANILA, Philippines - A man lost his motorbike inside the Manila Police District (MPD) headquarters yesterday.

Edielbert Estefanio, 33, said he went to the MPD anti-carnapping unit at 11 a.m. to get a copy of the police report about his motorcycle, which he reported stolen last Aug. 24.

Estefanio said he parked his red Honda TMX (5647-TA) inside the MPD headquarters but when he returned after a few hours, it was nowhere to be found. “Imagine losing your motorcycle inside a police headquarters? If your property isn’t safe inside police stations, would it be safer in other places of Manila?” he said.
