Engineer shot dead in Las Piñas

MANILA, Philippines - An engineer was shot dead by four men on two motorcycles in Las Piñas City Thursday night.

Police said Ermenio Ducao was parking his Isuzu Altera in front of Craftsman Motor shop along BF Drive in BF Resort Village when the men strafed his car at about 6 p.m.

Ducao tried to run away but died as he was getting out of the car. The attackers took his wallet and jewelry before fleeing in different directions. Empty shells of a 9mm caliber pistol were recovered at the crime scene.

Police said Ducao was working overseas and had just gotten home when he was attacked. The motive for his killing has yet to be established.
