2 hurt as oil tanker explodes in QC

MANILA, Philippines - Two persons were hurt when an oil tanker exploded in Quezon City yesterday morning.

Police identified the victims as Eddie Magada, driver of the tanker and his helper Jerome Nava.

They were taken to the East Avenue Medical Center for treatment.

Police said the victims were loading diesel along Araneta Avenue in Barangay Talayan when sparks were seen and the tanker burst into flames.
