- Rudy Santos -

MANILA, Philippines  -  A departing Thai Airways bound for Bangkok, Thailand aborted its take-off from the Ninoy Aquino International Airport (NAIA) yesterday afternoon after its nose left gear had a flat tire.

No one was reported hurt.

Thai Airways’ flight TG621, with 276 passengers and 16 crewmembers on board, was towed towards the Lufthansa technician’s station near NAIA’s Runway 24 for tire replacement.

Dante Basanta, NAIA Terminal 1 manager, said the Airbus 333 plane was able to depart for Bangkok at 5:35 p.m. after more than two hours.
