MANILA, Philippines - Incoming Navotas City Congressman Toby Tiangco, younger brother Mayor-elect John Rey Tiangco will take their oath today before vice president-elect Jejomar Binay.

Former President Joseph Estrada was invited as a guest in today’s oath-taking.

The elder Tiangco, who will step down as mayor after three terms, urged Navoteños to support his brother’s administration, adding that he expects John Rey to surpass his performance.

“With me in Congress, they are assured that national projects will support the approved city development plan,” he said.

Toby said Binay is expected to talk about his own programs to help the administration of president-elect Benigno Aquino III.

The younger Tiangco, a businessman, will state his priority programs in his inaugural speech. He initially said he will focus on Navotas’ greatest asset, its people.
